Manifesto for establishing minimum standards for public canteens across the EU

Europe cannot afford to step back on the green transition. On September 24, the BESA campaign (Buy European and Sustainable Act) will host a public event in Rome at Europa Experience – David Sassoli, bringing together institutions, businesses, and local authorities. The discussion will focus on how Italy can contribute to the reform of European procurement rules, promoting sustainability, innovation, and industrial competitiveness. With European public administrations spending over €2 trillion annually, strategic procurement can reduce emissions, create quality jobs, and strengthen local supply chains.
